DON'T CUT WHAT YOU CAN UNTIE - Blog rebuilding, dismantling, and relocating

I'm in the process of taking apart the blog and rebuilding it and I learned a valuable lesson about how to save data. Actually, the lesson learned was how NOT to save data. I'm apparently very good at NOT saving data. Somehow I lost about 20 posts which I'm hoping to recover sometime soon. Much of the other content here is being relocated, so when I'm finished this will be smaller, less active blog.
